It starts from building – acquiring a piece of land and build a building/houses. We are looking into how we build more efficiently or faster. So Construction Tech startups are the first one we’re looking for.
Once the building/house is build, we need to facilitate buy/sell of the property and also includes managing it. So the second vertical is around Property tech.
After that our customers start living in the property, we’re looking for technologies that give them convenience, security, cost efficiency and, basically happier. We coin the term Living Tech that includes energy management, home automation, smart appliance, security system and also logistics. We also include food technology into this category as well.
It’s known that people are more concerned about their health and wellbeing, especially Thailand is becoming an aging society. There are technologies that help them cope with the concerns and make their live happier. Our 4th vertical is Health and Wellbeing Tech.
Microsoft, Amazon, Unicef, Google, National Innovation Agency are among our partners whom we work with to drive the startup ecosystem. We’re running a number of technology talk events, sponsoring programs where startups could demonstrate their creativity. Working with universities and Nectec gives us the opportunity to nurture students to become a startup in the future.
